Diversity of Anti-Racism Work by Rainer Dalton

To be honest getting involved with anti-racism. Tt wasn't at the forefront of my mind. I began by showing people voices through photography. People who don't have voices at the forefront of society. I looked at anti-racism work like when you’re with your friends. If something was happening to you or your friends, you would want somebody to step in and help and raise their voice for you. Perhaps I may not practice traditionally anti-racism work through debates, but I think raising your voice in a creative way. For example, with photography, there is more exposure and education through arts instead of like aggressiveness. I take a different approach to elevate the voices of others.

There are many ways to support the Black Lives Matter movement but it’s about what fit best fits you. For example, I'm not very vocal about the BLM movement in a traditional way. However, if you are silently donating to the charities, that’s great! I went to the protest and took pictures that provide exposure to my followers on my platform. And it just shows you the gravity of the movement. There are different ways to show support. How you support anti-racism work is completely up to you. Personally, I do it by donating and providing a creative platform for individuals to get exposure.
