Making Decisions for the Future: Ending Poverty Once and for All

October 17 was the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, and the Poverty Talks! crew once again hosted important conversations in Calgary in recognition of the day!

This year, the theme was “Making Decisions for the Future: Ending Poverty Once and for All”, and there were seven conversations held across the city. In addition to the value of the conversations themselves, this year the notes from these conversations will be turned into a report and also be used to inform the Enough for All Poverty Reduction strategy and the City of Calgary Community Social Workers’ neighbourhood assessments.
