The 12th annual Valentine’s Day Memorial March for Missing and Murdered Women will be held Friday, February 14th, 2020 in the southwest at the Scarboro United Church.

Dozens of victims’ friends and family members will be in attendance, along with hundreds of other community members.

Nationwide, red cut-outs and frames with the names of missing and murdered women will be carried to honour all those who couldn’t be marching with them.

The march is also meant to raise awareness of the disproportionate number of aboriginal women who are no longer with us.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with speeches at 6:30 and the march itself at 7:00.
