Designs for Diversity & Inclusion: Service Provider Challenges and Solutions virtual conference, hosted by the Women’s Economic Council.

This conference aims to highlight the possibilities of inclusive design so that those not typically engaged in community services are engaged, welcomed, resourced appropriately and supported. We hope to include a special focus on newcomer women.

Through a series of thematic sessions, we will bring to focus the experiences women from equity-seeking groups (Black, Indigenous, immigrants, women of colour, women with disability and LGBTQ2S+). Women will raise awareness of the barriers faced which impact their sense of belonging, participation in services and achievement of goals.
