Calgary Community Anti-Racism Action Strategy - Input Sessions

The City of Calgary has contracted Habitus Collective and ActionDignity as consultants to co-create a Calgary Community Anti-Racism Action Strategy. The consultants will work with the Anti-Racism Action Committee, the community, and The City to do this work. The strategy will focus on The City’s role in addressing systemic racism in Calgary and our community-based services.

We need to hear from the community. Habitus Collective and ActionDignity will support the delivery of several events over the next few months for the community to attend. The goal is to create recommendations and actions for change. This series of events will be co-hosted by organizations or groups that serve or represent equity-seeking groups. Find a list of all events here.

We want to connect with as many Indigenous and racialized people across the city, so that different voices add to the strategy. Our goal is to listen, learn, and build communities where Indigenous and racialized people have equitable access to City services and programs. Share your vision, experiences, and ideas for a better Calgary for all. These ideas will help create concrete actions that can address racism, change systems, and policies.
