ABOUT THE EVENT

Between October 2021 and January 2022, they connected with over 100 art for social change (ASC) practitioners in the Calgary/Mohkínstsis area. Their goal was to listen and understand who is doing the work, how the work is being done, and what conditions enable or inhibit Art for Social Change to occur in our city. Through a series of surveys, interviews and events, they have heard and gathered many stories about how art for social change is operating in Calgary.

Located at cSPACE King Edward, Studio Theatre. Food will be provided.

WHAT TO EXPECT

ASC Key Insights Presentation

In this presentation, the ASC: Calgary Hub collective will share the outcomes from the ASC in Calgary outreach and mapping project, then engage participants in a reflective session.

ASC Design Sprint

Moving from reflection to action, participants will have a chance to collaborate with each other on the future of the Art for Social Change Network and the direction of the Calgary Hub.
