AREAS OF FOCUS #3: Arts and Culture Amenities and Inclusivity and Safety 

The City of Calgary has identified the need to plan for the future redevelopment of a number of facilities located in the Greater Forest Lawn Area. The Forest Lawn Multi-Service Centre Master Plan presents a unique opportunity to create a high-quality regional civic center for Forest Lawn and SE Calgary. The proposed location for the redevelopment is a 27.4 acre site located between 14 Avenue SE and 8 Avenue SE, and between 47 Street SE and 52 Street SE. 

At this focus session, the City is looking for feedback on existing arts and culture spaces and amenities in the Greater Forest Lawn Area and opportunities for arts and culture spaces and amenities at this civic centre, to better plan for the future of Forest Lawn and SE Calgary.
