Iftu Hargaaya, The Colour Factor
Iftu Hargaaya (She/Her) has over 10 years of experience teaching and working in the non-profit sector. At a young age she immigrated from Oromia, East Africa as a refugee, and currently lives in Treaty 7, Moh’kins’tsis. Iftu is a trained peer support worker and co-founder of The Colour Factor, a non profit organization which focused on reclaiming wellness for Black, Indigenous and Racialized communities and providing abolition centered community care. Currently Iftu is an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Instructor at Bow Valley College and a member of the city of Calgary's anti-racist action committee.

Prudence Iticka is an organizer of a mutual aid collective called Black People United which serves the Black/African communities of Calgary.
