Join climate and environmental scholar-activist Manvi Bhalla for a workshop centering gratitude, reconnection and reflection to help strengthen placemaking. Through this work, we'll aim to reclaim a sense of agency amidst a rapidly changing world, and work to stay engaged in climate action.
This hands-on workshop will use visualization and open reflection to help participants understand the climate crisis’ impact on mental health and well-being from an intersectional perspective. Bring your writing utensils, your ideas and willingness to share about your experiences. Through our time together, participants will leave with resources to navigate eco-grief and anxiety focusing on what works best for them. Through this work, we'll aim to reclaim a sense of agency amidst a rapidly changing world, and work to stay engaged in climate action.
This workshop is the first in a series hosted by The Canadian CED Network's Synergia Transition and Resilience Climate Action Program (STARCAP). ASL interpretation and closed captioning will be available.
