In Partnership with the City of Calgary's Arts and Culture Microgrant Initiative, CCIS is pleased to invite you to celebrate Heritage Day colourfully at the 14th Ave Block Party!!!

This event seeks to remind community members of the value of face-to-face interactions in a post-Covid world, the importance of sharing connective experiences as neighbours, counter the effects of isolation and foster a sense of safety and unity within our community.

Heritage Day acknowledges and honours the diverse cultural heritage of Albertans. This event celebrates the richness of our individual and collective cultures within Canada and our communities.

Get ready for an afternoon of unlimited fun with a collective of artists representing Alberta’s diverse cultural heritage, including the Blackfoot Indigenous Community, Nicaragua, Ukraine, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Mexico, Poland and Zambia.
