The microgrant program funds community-run public art projects initiated and led by community groups. This opportunity is open to community-run organizations, including informal groups that define themselves in terms of distinct communities, neighbourhood associations, and non-profit organizations or charitable organizations.
Community groups can learn more about developing and implementing public art projects while engaging with their wider community. Community groups can apply for up to $15,000.00 to hire local artists at any level of experience to explore any form of public art in their neighbourhoods.
