What if we approached grants through an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) lens?
Inspired by Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), a strengths-based approach that focuses on identifying and mobilizing the assets, relationships, and capacities already present in communities. This conversation centers community, individual, and collective strengths and challenges funders to do the same when allocating resources.
On March 13, we’re inviting you into a different kind of dialogue:
Assets over deficits.
Dignity over dollars.
Community power over harmful norms.
This isn’t about writing the “right” grant.
It’s about asking: What stories are we being asked to tell — and at what cost?
